Every product on Giftegy goes through our evaluation process:

• We verify the company is legitimate and established (typically 2+ years in operation)
• We check reviews on independent platforms like Trustpilot, G2, and BBB
• We research any recent controversies, security issues, or service problems

2. Gift-Worthiness Assessment

• Would someone actually want this as a gift? Not everything that's useful is giftable.
• Is it easy to gift? Can you send it to someone without knowing their address?
• Does it feel special? A gift should feel like a gift, not a chore.
• Is the value clear? The recipient should understand what they're getting.

3. Practical Considerations

• Delivery method (instant digital delivery or premium shipping)
• Regional availability (we note when products are limited to certain countries)
• Pricing transparency (no hidden fees or misleading pricing)
• Refund and cancellation policies

What We Don't Include

We actively exclude products that:

• Have predominantly negative reviews (below 4.0 stars)
• Use misleading marketing or dark patterns
• Have unclear or predatory pricing
• Lack proper customer support
• Have had significant security breaches or controversies
• Feel "scammy" or too good to be true

Our Review Process

When we write about a product:

• We research it thoroughly using multiple sources
• We include both pros and cons - nothing is perfect
• We note who the product is best suited for
• We're transparent about limitations or drawbacks
• We update reviews when products change significantly
